Continuing the cycle of positive change – Chain Reaction Challenge
Posted on 27 Apr 2026
For the second year running, we are proud to sponsor the Chain Reaction Challenge, a cycling event that has been raising funds for children’s charities since 2007. Continuing to support this initiative gives us the opportunity to be part of a cycle of positive change. Every kilometre ridden helps BaptistCare HopeStreet create safer, brighter futures for children experiencing disadvantage.
This year, the BaptistCare team will take on an impressive 1,000km journey across seven days through the South Australian countryside, travelling from the Adelaide Hills to McLaren Vale, Victor Harbour and the Barossa, including the demanding climbs of Mount Barker and Hahndorf.
BaptistCare HopeStreet operates across multiple centres in NSW and the ACT, delivering vital support to children and families in vulnerable communities. From breakfast clubs and educational school packs to care packages filled with food, clothing and toys, their services help create safer, more stable environments where children can thrive.
Funds raised through the Chain Reaction Challenge directly support practical, child-focused programs youth spaces, supported playgroups and resilience-building services for families facing hardship.
“We’re proud to be involved in the Chain Reaction Challenge again,” said Christopher Rooke, Managing Partner, One Fell Swoop. “Being able to help children and families facing disadvantage is something that matters to us. We’re grateful to BaptistCare for their leadership in creating brighter futures for families in need.”
